Olson Grimsley Kawanabe Hinchcliff & Murray LLC is a national impact law firm holding the powerful to account. The firm marks its three-year anniversary, celebrating groundbreaking litigation and monumental trial and appellate wins already creating significant change across the country.

In our first three years, we’ve tried eight cases to verdict, argued four appeals, and recovered more than $400 million for clients through judgments or settlements against defendants represented by Am Law 50 firms. The firm’s cases have been covered by CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Law360, and numerous media outlets. A significant portion of our work has been pro bono including protecting immigrants, elections, and the Rule of Law. We don’t just litigate. We lead.

In 2026, we welcomed back associate Victoria Suarez-Palomo from her Tenth Circuit clerkship and hired Allison Shillingford as our newest paralegal. We’ve more than doubled our attorneys and professionals since inception.



SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR THIRD YEAR

$70 Million for Babies with Gut Disease


OG was lead trial counsel in a consolidated four-plaintiff case against Abbott Laboratories, maker of Similac Special Care preterm formula, alleging it caused necrotizing enterocolitis in premature infants. After 4 weeks of trial, a Chicago jury awarded our 4 plaintiffs $70 million including punitive damages. This was the first multi-plaintiff preterm infant formula trial in the nation. Standing Up for Student-Athletes


OG partnered with Korein Tillery to represent 300+ former college athletes who opted out of the NCAA settlement. Our clients allege the NCAA and Power 5 Conferences violated antitrust laws, and their individual claims are proceeding in federal court in Colorado. Read more from The New York Times.

Battling Amazon


OG represents Zulily and its successor entities in their antitrust claims against online retail giant Amazon. Our clients allege Amazon targeted Zulily as an emerging competitor and engaged in a campaign of bullying and price-fixing which forced vendors to choose between selling on Zulily or Amazon and ultimately drove Zulily out of business. Their claims are proceeding in federal court in the Western District of Washington. Read more from Reuters.




First MDL to Colorado in 15 years


OG and Justice Jagher London & Millen filed a class-action antitrust suit alleging that major archery retailers, manufacturers, and trade associations conspired to fix product prices. OG won its argument to have the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation locate the MDL in Colorado—the first in Colorado federal court in more than 15 years. OG was then appointed as Liaison and Trial Counsel for the Plaintiffs. Read more from Law.com.




Seeking Justice for Terrorism and Forced Labor Victims


OG and Sparacino PLLC represent hundreds of victims of overseas terrorism and forced labor in four federal cases. After the court found that federal antitrafficking law covers US companies with global operations, OG spent weeks in the Philippines and Europe for depositions as discovery continues. ADVANCING THE PUBLIC INTEREST

ICE Enjoined


In November, a federal judge granted a preliminary injunction in a lawsuit challenging Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) practice of making warrantless arrests of people in Colorado in violation of federal law. The judge also granted provisional class certification in the case, extending the injunction to all similarly situated people in Colorado and ordering ICE to stop these unlawful practices. OG was lead counsel at the PI Hearing, and teamed up with ACLU-Colorado and The Meyer Law Office. Read more from CBS News. 


Defending School Policy Ensuring All Students Can Fully Participate


After a national religious advocacy group sued the second largest school district in Colorado over its policy for including all students on overnight trips, OG secured a complete victory, with all claims dismissed, upholding its commitment to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
